i can see that someone’s reading them. 

maybe it’s a bot 

maybe i sent it around for some sort of approval

maybe i sent it around so i could pretend that whoever is reading them is the person i actually want to

maybe i like to pretend there’s any one person i’d prefer to read them

truth is, i don’t know what i want. 

i could write and write about a few of the women that have touched my heart. 

i could find time to revisit whatever connection we shared, and stumble through a phone conversation with them while concealing just how much they cross my mind
